We started our small family farm in Jan of 2005 with the intention of raising Nigerian Dwarf goats as family milkers, pets, companion animals and 4H projects. It has been a wonderful experience for us. Our milking does are milked each day to provide our family with nourishing, COLD and tasty milk. Each goat enjoys a short hike around the farm nearly each day as time permits. In addition to our goats, we enjoy the company of two dogs, several barn cats , our three horses, one standard donkey and Cupcake the mini!
Our goal is to raise healthy, correct dairy goats that will provide years of service and pleasure to our family and to the families they find homes with.
We have several freshenings each year to provide us with fresh goat's milk & cheese for our family. The goat's milk is also used to create nourishing soaps and lotions. We currently DO NOT sell goat's milk for human consumption. Milk is available for animals in need.

"Tic Tac" is a 13.2hh POA rescued from the feedlot pen at the Camelot Auction in New Jersey. After completing his quarantine at a horse recue in Maine, we adopted this sweet and funny little guy who now calls our little farm his permanent home. PLEASE visit the horse rescue links shown on my home page to see how you can help out. Tic Tac is just one of MANY who find themselves at auction pens across the USA...the grim reality is that many often leave these auctions in cramped trailers heading to slaughter houses in Canada and Mexico. Horses are not bred to be on our dinner plates and due to typical medictaions commonly given to horses (Bute; wormers etc),the meat is not safe for consumption. Our European friends need to be made aware of this. Please take some time to educate yourself about horse slaughter as there are many who would have you believe it is a necessary evil and have twisted the facts. Please write your state representatives and senators asking them to join with other compassionate members of congress who are against horse slaughter and put an end to this cruel practice. Our American horses surely deserve better.

Here is Gracie, formery #813 from the June auction at Camelot. Very shy and scared. Now safe and enjoying her new home. Gracie now walks fairly well on lead and has had her feet trimmed three times since arriving here..she gets better each time.
