"All creation anticipates the day when it will join God's children in glorious
freedom from death and decay." Romans 8:21 NLT
For many of us losing a pet is like losing a member of the family. Unconditional love, forgiveness, loyalty, commitment, affection and joy are just a few of the losses we experience when our pets pass from this earth to their heavenly home.
Genesis through Revelation gives us a panoramic view of God's love for HIS animals and all of creation. In God's Word we find comfort and hope that our beloved pets are in heaven with their creator because of the gift of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In one another we can find comfort as we look forward to being reunited with our pets in heaven. If you have lost a beloved pet may you find comfort in knowing of God's LOVE for all of His animals and all of creation.
- "The godly are concerned for the welfare of their animals." Proverbs 12:10 NLT
- God created all the animals (Psalm 104).
- "Then God commanded, 'Let the earth produce all kinds of animal life; domestic and wild, large and small, and it was done. So God made them all, and He was pleased with what He saw." Genesis 1:24, 25
- The earth is the Lord's , and everything in it, the world and all who live in it..(Psalm 24:1).
- "All the animals in the forest are Mine and the cattle on thousands of hills. All the wild birds are Mine and all living things in the fields."
Psalm 50:10, 11
- Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly father feeds them. Matthew 6:26 NIV
- "This plan, which God will complete when the time is right, is to bring all creation together, everything in heaven and on earth, with Christ as head." Ephesians 1:10
- "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves. Protect the rights of all who are helpless." Proverbs 31:8
Making One's Calling and Election Sure 2 Peter 1: 3-11 NIV
3. His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 4. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
5. For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6. and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7. and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. 8. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9. But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.
10.Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall, 11.and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
